What ya puttin it into? The 1717 motor is a real powerhouse from all the hype. I mean the motor is almost as big as a Coke can, and has some pretty impressive specs. Unless you are planning to push around a 1:1 car with it I am sure it will live up to whatever R/C you place it in 1/10th, 1/8th, or even 1/5th scale as long as you mate it with a good ESC and batteries.

That is still up in the air. Got a thread some where about a new RC build.
Probably Ebay allot of stuff for funding.
