looks like my hopes of pre X-mas XL are dashed, just got my confermation e-mail from Castle that my order won't ship until "after the holiday season". Seems early January is a good estimate after all.

I've been through this same thing with many products from many companies over the years. Look at how the computer market has Vaporware and all the delays there, just one example. It is always very frustrating.

Just got verification from the production floor. The hold up was for the user's guide on the Mamba XL. The first units will ship on Thurs the 23rd.

Ahh good news! Might have mine by Christmas then! I would have gladly taken mine without the user's guide though

Oh and are you sure the motors are ready to ship as well? I've called and left a message and e-mail to sales but have not gotten a response yet.

Saw the ad in my RC Car Action today for the Mamba XL and motor, it looks good in a full page spread :).

Still watching the site for a price to be added to the combo so I can jump on my order, if it's not happening this week and you can say please say and I will try and find a phone during business hours and place an order that way.

You should be able to order by phone... I believe the pricing is set. I don't know if the order people know the pricing yet, but I'll check to make sure they do by tomorrow.

Great to hear, I would love it if you could get it on the site tomorrow since it's amazingly difficult for me to use a phone during business hours and thus far it's been a bad week and I haven't been in a good facility for it. Internet access is quite easy though :)

But when you say "combo" do you mean ESC + motor only?
Or is it the full combination you mean with combo: ESC + motor + conversion?

And of what material is the conversion made, is that plastic or is that black anodized metal?

ESC and motor are available now.

Conversion kits are supposed to ship to us on Christmas day. -- We expect to have the conversion kits in stock before new year.
