Well, I forgot to get a new plug on my way home from work. Probably a good thing because I also forgot to take the old one with me to get the right size. Anyway, when I got home, I put in my home made mixture screw and just a little fiddling later, it runs like a dream again. Yay! Of course, it will probably act stupid when I need it most, but for now I'm happy. Thanks everyone for the assistance!
You lost your adjust screw for your open throttle.
The screw you have in maybe partially closing the hole for fuel to get into engine.
I could look around and probably send you one if need.
Peace!

Only one "blower" on Harold's wheelchair... At least that is what Hippie told me... Wish he would just keep his mouth shut (on Jeff) as I do not want those mental pictures...
Glad you got the engine running. Not that difficult, unless you have a vacuum leak...
Yea unfortunately these things do not take care of themselves. At teh very least you have to do what Harold suggested, which is clean gas, new plug, and clean your air filter. The only other thing that comes to mind is if your spark is created by a magneto, sometimes they become rusty and do not make a very good spark, causing the engine to run rough. I would try the other things first before looking into that. In order to clean it up you have to remove the pull start cover and either lightly sand it or use steel wool on it to remove a thin layer of rust, dirt, or debris. Once all of that is checked the only thing likely left is the carberator itself may need cleaned out.
If we got enough snow for something like that.
I could see where it would be useful.
I stick with my tractor for now.
Speaking of snow it is falling now.
Peace!
