It depends on gearing. Either way, current draw will be high to get the typical ~300w average/~1000w bursts that buggies tend to pull when geared for ~35mph. Not to mention greater losses (heat) from the increased current. Personally, 3s would be the absolute minimum, 4s typical, 5s-6s for "hv" setups.

If you have 2s packs, I would just use two in series with a ~2000kv motor.

i run 4s with a medusa 3680, just curios if that is possible would be nice to have a lighter buggy
