Sidewinder SCT Question

You really don't want 3S with this Combo on the SC10
2S is way enough power and you can gear to heaven with this Motor.
The ESC will not work on 3S anyhow (see Castles Webpage) you would ne a MMP for 3S.

Yeah, I suspect 2S may be more than enough, but the truck is used for bashing in large open sandy areas, so you can put a lot of power down. The webpage doesn't say the ESC won't work on 3S. In fact, it says it WILL work with 3S, but you should use a lower KV motor. The reason for my question is that I've seen the standard original Sidewinder running 3S with 4600kv motors. It also seems to me that the SC10 is fairly light compared to say a Slash 4x4.
