I see a comment about blipping the throttle on youtube. I see the nitro guys doing it at the track with electric models also. Is it a nitro habit or does it have any merit to do it with an electric? I always thought driving smooth would be more consistent on a track?

It took me a while to stop bleeping the throttle when I changed over from nitro to brushless (saw the light). Now it really pi55es me off when I hear other people doing it with their EP cars.

I honestly don't think it has any merits (bleeping the throttle). It's just something that nitro guys do because they love making noise. Can't see it being of any benefit.
