I was able to run my Gmaxx a couple of days ago. Geared 44/21 on 6S with the 1520 motor was insane. It propelled the truck so effortlessly. The batteries and motor barely got warm.

Im running the 1520 in a muggy that is pushing 14 pounds fully loaded.
center diff:14/48
diffs: xxl diffs
batts: 6s 30/40c
tires: super bolt on tires on losi 420's
esc: mmm v3

Temps are very cool almost ambient. Fan never has come on the esc while running, even in grass with tons of long full throttle pulls, jumps, etc. I cant wait to try out some nano tech batts with an insane C rating to see what this bad boy can do. Its fast now, no doubt, but not at all fast enough ;) But in my own defense, I have the punch control turned down a little and I haven't messed with timing at all...

I love this freakin motor. I took my RC8T out again yesterday on 6S through grass and dirt. Temps maybe 10-15C above ambient at the end of the first pack. Torque galore.

Few of my friends, after seeing how this motor runs in my car, want one for their truggies. Problem is that they aren't any longer available. Please bring them back Castle (I want a few spares too).

I have two 1520 new as spares, waiting in their boxes, but I don't need them, my first 1520 still works like a charm in my mbx5T truggy since one year of intense racing and bashing on 6S .
I Still have the same bearings, love the durability of thoses NMB oversized bearing
