Made some progress today. This motor is way too big for this mount, I had to create some room for it to fit.

I was planning to have the mount screws to enter from the bottom, but the motor is so large the nuts don't fit :). This thing is going to be a monster...
So the nuts are hanging from the bottom, not very slick but it works.

Next I made a rear rest thing for the motor, it's from the DBX VE so I used it. It too had to be fitted for this large motor (+ room for a screw on the motor).

This is the result. I am still waiting for that HK ESC. This is going to be cool...

Are the mounting holes for the motor mount in the chassis slotted? If they are, as simple as that mount is I would cut my own out of a peice of alum. angle and then tap the hole in the mount so you can you a flat head screw so its flush with the chassis. They way it is now works but I think if you will be running on pavement before you know it the nuts will be ground down to nothing.
