double sided sticky tape, the heavy duty stuff. I've mounted rx, esc with it. the esc is right on the chassis, for a low cog. never caused any problems.

these screw removers are great, surprisingly it works:

a small gas lighter to get screws removed, which are secured with loctite

gripping pliers are always good to have.

VELCRO is a must have.

I also use a small propane torch for doing hot work like shrinkwrap stuff.

A small drill press is also a nice tool to have around the shop.
