I'm gonna get a Hyper TT and planned to equip it with a Tekin motor, but when the time come to motor shop I'll def consider these Viper mills especially if considerably cheaper ?

You can fix that pretty easily! It just takes a bit of practice, and having a decent iron can make or break the experience. Check some Youtube vids and practice up on some old or broken stuff. You're missing out on a lot of great motor choices if you exclude motors with solder tabs.

Not only that, soldering is fun and worth every cent of the self satisfaction you get doing everything yourself.

Man, they really need to release the 1/8 motors. I won't be able to get out and run one for a little while yet, but I want to have one in my hands so as soon as the weather clears I'll be ready!

Nope, but I'm still waiting as well. I want to try the cheat mode on 4s with one. Works with the Tekin 1/8 motor.

I'm thinking you meant to say on par with Tekin. Castle has a limited amount of kv options.
