i am really going to put this 1520 to the test.
I have a brand new 1520 sitting here.. it is going to go in my 18lbs savage! Im going to run it on 9s! so near its max RPM Limit... and then we will see what this baby can really do :)

It will be pushing heavy baja rims too... So this will be a good test! Im going to gear for 70mph on 9s using an ice hv! Ill keep you posted!

I'll also be interested to see if the 1520 is up to this task. I have my doubts, but I could be wrong. I'm planning on using the 1717 for my new build that will be of similar size to your savage. The 1717 is almost as big as the 1527, which can handle this size truck.
