. This country is build on immigrants, needs immigrants and at the same time don't want them. This is the point of view of most fellow immigrants.

Thats sad Snell, because most of us could care less one way or the other. Yes this country was built on the backs of immigrants, and those were our families. So don't try to lay that guilty crap in here. No country NEEDS immigrants, but they do provide certain qualities to our country and are always welcome here as long as they follow the laws of our nation without question. The only problem the American people have is with the immigrants who have come here and stayed here without going through the system that was setup by our Governing powers to protect our borders and our rights for services that we paid for through taxes. The Immigration laws are fairly simple and must be followed or suffer the consiquences. There are penalties for violating those laws and our Gov should be following them to the letter and taking care of business because that is what they were elected to do. The immigration laws are very much the same in every country around the globe so you have no real stance that is going to give you a loophole around those laws. Carry your ID or don't. It will not be me putting you in jail, but I back the laws of this nation with pride and follow them to the "T" just I expect any visitor to do.

Yes you are. By not carrying your required ID you are expecting special treatment for a law that requires you to have it on you at all times. There are no excpetions in that law. It does not say if you don't feel like it, then just leave it at home. No more than the local laws that require you to carry a drivers license to drive a car. If you get caught driving without it you get a ticket. Most judges will dismiss the penalty as long as you show proof in court that you do hold a VALID drivers license. But if you are a repeat offender you will get hammered and eventually lose your license. You go right ahead and be a rebel man. I am not here to trap anyone or cause trouble for people who fail to follwow the law. That is why we have Sheriff's, State Troopers, and border patrol. I am just here because I am an American and I believe in our country and its laws. If people don't know or understand I am willing to share my knowledge if asked, and I have little time for people who just don't care. Funny thing about people who think they are above the law. Sooner or later they will fall. Then they want to sceam prejudice or discrimination when it was them who violated the very laws that gave them the opportunity to live here in the first place to share in the freedoms that our country provides. I shared the info that I am aware of because I hope that it might help someone who did not know or understand who wants to check into the laws that affect them directly and maybe do the right thing. Good luck with your dare against a system that was setup to help you live here legally, and yet you mock that system and taunt your own fate. That is what makes American born people feel badly about the whole immigration situation. We follow the laws of our country and yes by God we expect you to do the same, or just we would you will suffer. And yet you still see this as an inconvenience. Man isn't that something. God bless man.

What job you or I hold or how hard you or I work has nothing to do with anything we have been talking about. Who cares what you or an illegal or I do for a living when it comes to the Immigration laws? And whats this crap about us not going to bully you? All we have done is quote Federal laws for you that are written once again to help you and give you the opportunity that you have in the USA that require you to carry that alian ID card that was issued to you to protect you. So what part of that was bullying you? The jails are full of guys with the same attitude you have shared with us about the laws of our nation, and I bet they wish they could take back the rebelious refusal to follow those laws so they would not be in jail. If I were in your shoes and had a family who depended on me to survive I would do whatever it took to make sure that I was always there to support them by following every law to the letter, and staying out of trouble in any way possible so that I know there is no chance that I could lose what I have. Your playing russian rulet just by puffing out your chest and showing us how tough your are so that you only have to follow the laws of this nation which you think are important. Really?? This is your stance on the matter? We only want our friends here on RCM to do what is right, and we look out for those who are not by sharing our knowledge about these things in order to help them. So you just keep being tough and risking everything for your ego. Thats going to show us, right? I carry six ID's on me at all times so that I can avoid the hassles that come with living in a nation that is not my home. I carried my PP until they issued me an alian card that I will take with me everywhere I go no matter what. Because my family depends on me to be here and I love them enough to suffer having to carry that ID even if it might make my wallot too fat. If I lose it or it gets stolen, then I will have to get it replaced. Whatever it takes. What an arguement that is.
