when i had my erbe i went through those stupid pos plastic axles all the time, and when i say "all the time" i mean like i was damn lucky if i could get a set of batteries through the stupid thing before i broke one. I know you dont want a savage (not sure why not?) but i sold my erbe and bought one and i couldnt be happier. A truggy might be boring like other have said because of the center diff and ground clearence issue. I agree with Linc, get an LST XXL or LST2 and convert it to brushless, they are the next best thing to a savage as far as toughness goes

Arent those pretty hard to come by since they havent made them in like 4 years?

Built Ford tough, with Chevy stuff.

You still see them up for sale here and there. Sometime I wish I had not sold my muggy.

As far as handling goes, alot of people think the revo handles really good, then they race a lst2. Considering its size and weight Losi got the lst2 right, it handles as well if not better than the revo, especially rough terrain.

Consider losi has 2 distinct sections, their race and sport branches. The race branch is responsible for the eight lineup, the xxx 2wd electrics, and the lst series. True, the lst1 was not all that great from a durability standpoint, but losi fixed that on the lst2 and it is a great platform. Losi makes their parts very well, some of the best molded parts I have seen.

After owning alot of revo based stuff I now only have a summit, and as far as I am concerned it is the best use of the revo chassis.

And I understand about the dislike of the savage. I have had a few and still have a few, and I really would not miss them.

I completely agree. I recently did a custom chassis for my LST and the handling is awesome. I would of raced it last weekend but i keep having reliability issues, these issues are cause of stuff i made not stock losi stuff.

Also, i think the added weight may actually help it get better traction and make it feel more planted.

I also regret selling my muggy but at least it went to a good home (v8Hatch)

Just my $0.02

As for the e-revo issue. i completely agree with what has been said above, sell it. buy a LST2 and have some fun. I also own an e-revo but it is primarily for racing and i never use it otherwise, i also have an electric revo which i bash but not very hard. Technically i own 2 LST XXL's, they are great, once you get them set up the way you like it you will love 'em. Just remember to shim the diffs, if you don't they can break.\

Wow, i really hope this all made sense.
