Hey guys, just an update...the 3800kv motor in an scte geared 15/40 is def. The sweet spot...great top end, great acceleration, and best of all, I ran back to back 2s 65C 5600mah protek's and the motor topped out at 155...:). I figured out why I was running so hot and it turned out that I was spinning my wheels too much and not getting enough traction , lol. Ive tried the 4.5 and 5.5 HV motors both with and without the 14mm tuning rotor and they both either got too hot or didn't have as much torque as I'm used to....i also tried the 2650kv 1512 cc/Neu and it worked fine as well, however, just make sure you have good lipos BC my 2s 5000mah 40c venoms had a hard time accelerating the truck from a dead start and bringing the nose down during jumps...but my protek's had zero issues .....hope this helps..

Today i tested the 1410 Motor in my RC8 to SC10 4WD Conversion

Setup
1410 3800KV
Mamba Max Pro
46/16 Gearing
2S 6200 mAh Lipo

On our small Indoor Track this is way enough for this heavy car.
Im more than impressed what this little motor does with the car.

The Track is in an old "Glashouse" and the temps inside where today in the high 80-90
After running about 15min on this bumpy carpet track the motor had 105 F

Castle what f***k have you put together here
This motor is a masterpice !!!!

Please come up with an 5mm shaft rotor ...
Meanwhile i will try to Neu 1409 4500 KV

kind regards

Mirko

Brushless motors have to be green ....
