MMP thermal shutdown temp for motor?

Can someone from Castle please confirm this?

Is it possible to add a motor temp thermal shutdown feature in a firmware update, or does it require a change in the hardware?

Since the sensor in the motor is connected to the ESC anyway, it's a shame not to read it and use the info to prevent damage.
