I`m very happy on the temps.. I run hard, and still keep 130f on both motor/esc.. my 30C 5000mah turnigy`s was showing 85f after 22min`s today, on it`s second cycle...
Dont forget, with cover on.. Alot less cooling wind..
And these temps was with badlands, not the stock (lighter) tires..

The outerwear is made for the E-revo.. i got 2 covers, one original outerwear, and one cheap version i found on ebay for 11 bucks or so.. The ebay one is slightly longer, and fits the RC8T better so thats what i use now.. Both types are fit with velcro, outside the mud guards.

It doesnt seal up the rear as good as on the E-revo though.. But i put some velcro on the chassie under the rear center axle, to stick the cover onto.. Works great..
I do get alittle sand into the chassie, but nothing compared to without the cover.
I also have 1 layer of outerwear on top of the MMM fan, to keep it clean. (a cut out from an old cover)

The V4 isnt as wide as the stock chassie though.. But i think the cover fits anyway..
