for races in 1/8tt you dont need more power than 3s +2150kv ............ in my races people use 2200+4s and 2650+3s and the speed is the same

this is my last race ....... I used a xerun 4274 and the temperature arrived at 65cº....... using the leopard 4074 provably will be 50-55cº

On your track, maybe 3S + 2200Kv is enough... But in classic euro tracks, 4S 2200Kv with high gearing is requiered ^^ ~40-42mph.

Inferno VE MMv3 NEU-CC 1515/1Y 4S "Flying machine"

MBX5T Prospec MMv3 NEU-CC 1520/1Y 6S "Overkill Flying machine" ;)

Brushless, what else ?

Very nice, but I wonder how hot it would get if you pushed it? With, say, 6s and bashing (Not racing obviously..)

Still, the fact that it's colder than Xerun is quite impressive. Xerun's are getting pretty well known for quality, and Leopard is much cheaper than that Xerun motor.

leopard 2000kv 4082 motor - 05.15.2011, 09:19 PM

Hi everyone, i was thinking of getting a leopard 2000kv 4082 for my brushless truggy and using it on 4s. The motor will be bought off ebay. I had a look at leopards website and they dont have a 2000kv 4082 motor. Is this motor the 2000kv 4082 only exclusive to kershaw desings?? help will be much appreciated. thanks
matt

What car is it in? How does it perform? What voltage are you running at? What ESC are you using with it?
