my eSavage thread - 05.14.2011, 10:15 PM

This savage has been kicking around MN forever. It started life as a ss nitro. Then came the FLM extended low center of gravity chassis. Then the FLM wide arms. Then bulkheads etc. etc.

Now it is finally being converted to brushless with an RCM universal center diff and a 1717. (shout out to CodyMcP for the 1717 hook up)

Teaser pics! (it takes me a while to build)-

it's a 1717 so it will be powered by an MMM on 6s. That seems to be the hot setup.

My Savage with a 1717 and the stock transmission on 5s is nutty, with the center diff, very cool by the way, on 6s will be insane.

Hey Harold...it appears to the naked eye that the CD motor portion of the mount is quite thick...me say like 6-8mm? Any plans to support the tail of the monster motor or leave it as is.

I'm going to support it. No sense taking chances, I beat the snot out of my trucks.

Where do you people get your universal diff mounts from?

By the way, how many cars do you have? From what I've gathered so far, you seem to have A LOT! :) Got a pic of em all together ? Would be cool to check that out.
