That actually I can do, already have a plan for the bearing supper that the extender that can mount up in no time!
Just need to find an extenter that will work..only has to be 3-4cm long..maybe less. |

You could make another shaft for the pulleys/spur gear. Make it longer on the motor side so you can mount the spur on the opposite side of the pulley.
