I just told you man, Savage XL rear dog bone 142mm... Fits perfect on the new (3905) FLM chassis WITH MONOBLOCK . I used FLM drive cups for transmission and Monster GT Cups for my diffs. 8mm bore.

I just ran it for the first time in over a year!! I can't believe the neu battery. I tried to charge it but it had a full charge so I just put a balancer on it, plug it in, and everything ran fine. I still have to fix all the tire alignments. I just could not wait. :)
Time to change my avatar and find a new body

Sweet!
Whats the wheelbase sitting at now with the setbacks and Mono?
Gonna need a long body. Maybe the Xtm Mammoth>? I got the Proline F-650 but I do not have Set-backs.

All good things come to those who wait. I finally found a Titanum skid plate. I wanted 3mm but I figure I had better grab the 2 mm while I had the chance.
Next is 6s power. I think my 5s Neu is shot. It did not suvive the hiatus.

I was beginning to think you had died Mark.....
Good to see you back! Truck is looking nice. I sold off my 3mm ti skids several years back and realized I let them go too cheap.

Good to see you back. Hobbyking has some 3s hardcase packs, do one on each side and keep things balanced! http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=14085

Looks great Mark!! I knew it would be awesome!
The funniest thing happened to me I'm broke and getting married while in undergrad!! I wish I had never heard about the hobby!! I love my Maxx, but it would be so incredible to have $4000 or so right now. I'm picking up the engagement ring today! So I think as far as hands on goes I'm probably getting out of the hobby until I have kids.

Congrats!! I remember the pic of you "showing off" to some girls. Jeesh time flies. Get the kids involved and then you will have an excuse to play again. Wish you the best Zack.

Well congratulations on your addition to your homestead. Getting married can be a very good thing as long as you let her get her own way 100% of the time. Even so it does not mean that you have to give up on R/C. It just gives you more options to chose from when you wake up each day. There is nothing wrong with taking a break from the hobby when money is low, but you will hit on better times and get the chance to play once again. Life is too short to be without playtime for yourself. If your wife loves you than she will also want to make you happy and give you some personal space as well. Don't overthink marriage. Life is good.

I do love your comments Jerry! I'm sure of it... you are one of the most thoughtful people that I know.
Mark, maybe you'll get a metal servo horn?

Awesome to hear Zack! I've definitely added to my maxx knowledge by your trial and error. Thanks for being rough on stuff!
Take it or leave it- I suggest being engaged, living as though you were married for a minimum of one year. If you can last through that you have a great shot at a successful marriage. And if you can't, well that speaks for itself. Getting caught up in the whirlwind of emotion of a new relationship and progressing too fast is the downfall of many marriages.
But it's your life! Keep RCM informed and we will support you no matter what. And give you shit at the same time. Peace man!

LOL, Zack you are the second person to mention my steering setup. Neil did not like my servo saver. I guess that is next. I did title this thread, "...almost done."
