no lights and no sound when you turn it on means it's dead. Same thing happened to my little bros, he called castle and they said send it in. He barely made the warranty period, lol. Think maybe a week or two left on his.
Also, just to clarify, it has to have a motor connected to it to make sounds, but no lights is also a dead sign.
