You can get all the parts you need to convert from Amain hobbies.com. The Mad force kruiser ve parts section.

x2, I have converted 2 mad forces to electric using the parts from them. I guess they ship out of the states, not sure. I will say I don't think you will get that motor in there using stock parts though, pretty much only a 36mm can will fit. They are light, simple trucks though, and you can get more than enough power with a 36mm can motor that fits.

Thanks fellas.

On ebay, I found Kyosho VE slipper clutch/spur gear set, VE motor mount set and VE chassis parts lot. Junkman, am I off to a good start? Do I need the chassis parts lot or did you use the nitro chassis you already had?

Thx for the tip on motor, I spose I'll find another application for the big leopard. What kv motors did you use in your Mad Force?

Thx mate
Pete

you can use your chassis side rails, you will however need the plate that the motor mount bolts to that goes between the the side rails, its different between nitro and electric. The battery trays are ma109 I think, you'll need those unless you fab something up yourself. Battery options are kinda limited, but they work good, and most hardcase size 2s packs fit. I have a twin force up and running at the moment, with believe it or not, a vxl setup in it. I wanted a waterproof mudder, so tossed that stuff in it, and geared it down and works plenty well enough to suit me, even running lst tires. I run 2 3000mah 3s paralleled together. I sold one that I had converted a few months ago, and it was running an old feigao 9xl, on 4s w mamba max. I have another mad sitting here with the parts to convert it, and not sure what I am going to run in it. They really don't take much power, they are light for their size, and if you want the front wheels to ever be touching the ground you don't need to crazy of a setup.
