Anything newer than v1.24 should have torque control feature- it's just finding a version which doesn't have the low-speed glitching issue ( just don't use v1.28 as that is a known dodgy version ).

How do you tell what version of MMM you have? I think mine is an older version because it has female bullet plugs soldered to the board instead of wires and because the newer firmwares cause heavy low speed glitching. Is there any firmware version with torque control that works with an older MMM? Or do I just have to go do trial and error?
