Would it be possibly to buy posts and add your own to the ESC? Will probably void your warranty though, but you'd have what you want. (not even sure if you can, just thinking aloud).

My warranty is long gone on my all my ESCs but I'm not willing to try soldering onto the pcb

Castle has the soldeer posts, they have them on motor connections on the one cell and on the battery connections on the HPI branded esc, I just want to see them combined
