Isn't the 1717 able to pull like a thousand more watts than the pletty? I first thought it would be due the additional can size and mass allowing greater cooling, but the pletty has a fan.

Does 1mm make that much difference?

I thought when the MMM came out people were burning up bigmaxximums on 6s?

It is still by far the sexiest motor in r/c. I know a thing or two about sexy- Linc taught me.

The motors do seem pretty closely related in size and spec, but how do they compare as far as overall power rating?

The big blue is the sexiest motor in our hobby for sure. It looks like it was made for the UE Lightning don't you think?

As for what you learned from James I believe it was petifillia, or maybe redncek foreplay, but sexy I doubt that.
