I use one of these Sansa Clip 4gb players - reasonable price, very small, built in clip on back, drop and drag files from your computer - and I've been happy with it. As Neil says, upgrade the headphones:

I'll chime in, though, that listening to music while biking on road may not be the safest thing - I've been a runner for 20+ years and I won't listen to music when I'm running anywhere near cars.

I agree, but i usually ride a 4 am & usually alone, so it's kind of boring . I would most likely ride with only one headphone in (right side). So my left ear closet to the cars would be free.

How easy it this one to program with music ?.

Very easy - hook it up to your computer with a usb cable and it looks like a memory card - just drag and drop your music files into it and its ready to play.
