Ok now think about this what if I advance the timing to high wont this be techniclly adding kv's to the motor?

yes it will but timing advance wont make up for the difference in kv

here is something else to keep in mind, the 2200 makes more torque, thats going to shorten the life span of the drive train on your car faster than the 2650

as for the 2650 turning at 60k rpm, thats not a big deal, the only part that you need to worrie about is the bearings, if you service them often that 2650 will be happy to run that fast

another thing to keep in mind is the motor will only be revving that high for seconds at a time, if it ever even makes it to max rpm

case in point we have been running a castle 9000kv motor on 3s with no problem for quite some time now and i have a 7700kv motor thats lived threw 2 years of 4s in a mini revo and a touring car.

as long as you service the bearings and watch the temps the motors will be fine

( *FYI this voids your warranty )
