ROSSA is organising the World RC Speed Championships next year. The format is different countries to hold RC speed events to the ROSSA format and classes and the results pulled together to determine the worlds fastest RC cars in the different classes.

The UK will be hosting 2 events as part of the championships both to be held at Shakespeare County Raceway, Long Marston. One will be in May and the other will be on 7-8th September 2013. Australia will be host 4 events and at least 2 will be in the USA.

MGM are thinking of being the main sponsors and willbe donating a large silver trophy to be presented to the fastest RC vehicle in the World Championships. Winners of the individual classes will be recognised as the current world champions for that class and receive an engraved trophy with the class, speed and name of the winner.

Anybody achieving 100 mph, will receive a ROSSA 100 mph hat in black and become life members of the 100mph club. hats are also awarded for 200kph, 150mph, 300kph and 200mph.

One day I will be able to participate. Got to wait for the kids to grow up a bit, so that this big kid can play again.
