Instead of cutting a slot you could also use of piece of CF under the CD. cutting a slot in the CF instead.

yes the top plate was put on wrong lol hurry to take pics, i have since flipped the diff around and just raised the diff about 1 mm,i didnt like using the long shank pinions.
the truggy runs great tons of steering just have to watch the wheel pins (they like to work themselves loose
