I ended up getting HPI 17mm Hex which use the same size pin I already had (2.5 X 12) and a set of Sweep belted tires already mounted on black wheels. Not as nice looking as the aluminum ones but they feel really solid. I doubt the would balloon at all.

Given the smaller radius, the new theoretical speed is now 71 MPH. Let's see how hot the Schulze gets before I hit 50mph
