BTW; Seems like CC only sells the 1512 and 1515 now and so no motors with a kv spec of less than 2200. Do you know why?

They're simply the most popular motors they sell. They did limited edition runs of a lower kv 1512, a 1518, a 1520 and the 1717. I guess they didn't sell enough to produce more?

Occasionally you can find the 1518, 1520 and green 1717 on ebay. The black 1717 out of the xo-1 is available on ebay.

I have a 1050/kv neu 1521 I'm considering selling.

But I don't know if you could handle that much power.
