Thanks the only reason I'm using a summit trans is because I had a Summit I wasn't using at the time. Need to put it back in the Summit I possibly will be changing it over to a 1 speed trans no real need for the low gear I dont want to see what it would do the diffs if I got a wheel stuck

If you can find the nova rc al diff cups and the sportwerks tin coated ring/pinion gears you can make a bullet proff set of diffs for the truck. I did mine about 5yrs ago and they are still going strong with the 1717 and lst2 tires/wheels.

I ran some power thru the 1sp new emaxx trans and it did fine. Good synthetic grease is important in there. Or seal it and run oil additive, like sikeston does.

I plan to make another wide ratio 2sp trans up for my 6x6 max truck. Another outrunner project, most likely on 5-6s.
