I started working on it a bit last night and I'm hoping to be done by Friday when we leave for vacation.

Got the truggy finished today. I really like the layout of the electronics and all of the pieces that Mike made.

The only thing I would like to redo is the wiring from the esc to the motor. Is was already done from when this combo was in my D8T so I left it for now.

I'm calling this my "wifes" truck so I let her pick the colors. The blue/purplish color is more purple in person that what shows up on my screen.

I really love my badlands on my truggy! They are some great all terrain performing tires. Digging the look, Tamiya did an awesome job, and mike really kept that clean organized layout flowing. Kudos. Know that you mention it, You should check out the braided wire Hobbyking sells. Some great stuff really makes the wires look cool. Here Is what im yapping about. Some great stuff, just make sure to heat shrink both ends to prevent fraying.

I was going to give you a hard time for girly purple lid the car is sitting on in the first pics, then I continued on to read that the ride itself, has a purple lid

Nice clean and simple layout. As for the wire coverings...I have used them. Ended up ditching them as the ends fray and look like crap unless u wrap them with shrink tubing. I wrap all my wiring in black shrink tubing to make them less noticeable and add another layer of protection....even motor and battery wires...

Like the TBR bumpers as well....added those to all my trucks. Well worth the money

The truggy has been running great. We have it with us while we are on vacation.

almost complete with mine but what pinion do i start with, i have a tacon 4074- 2150kv on 4s lipo or castle 1518 on 4/6s not racing 45 mph would be a nice pace

I would use this speed calculator here,

Try to gear for roughly 40mph and 30k rpm's. My 801xT is geared 16/48 if I remember correctly.

What is the spur gear tooth count is it 48 or 52 for stock

also curious why there is more suspersion droop in rear than front i think my kyosho was the same way, is there a reason for this

I think most truggies are this way. Most RC vehicle that I have owned all have had more drop in the rear and longer rear shocks.
