Does anyone know for sure if Alumabrite boat cleaner will work on titanium? Sanding/abrasion is out of the question here.
I read
HERE
that
Aluma-Brite Aluminum Boat Cleaner is an acidic compound used to remove corrosion and
oxides
I think titanium color is an oxidation process.

All the things wheelman used above are acidic compounds, and none removed the anodizing from Ti, so I'm gonna say the boat stuff probably won't work.

All I know is that the caustic soda/lye in the granular drano I've been using is what removes the ano from aluminum.
And that Alumabrite is the only thing that actually works for removing ano from Titanium.
I do not, however, know why. lol

Common sense, is not so common.
