Sounds good but need to know how many cells you will run, weight of truck, gear set up, etc... I am running a 9918 and a 8XL with 14 GP3700's and it runs about 40 mph ( my guess) and run time is about 20 min's. And a brushless setup will burn a nitro truck up LOL. Oh welcome to the forums:027:

I was thinking of runing 14cells (3800 or 4200). The truck weight is same as stock but, I would like to get Gorillamaxx chassis some time. I will need help with the gear set up?

I not sure if I would run a 9l on 14 cells. I have heard alot of people have heat problems. The 10L should be better option.

So now a warrior 9920 Brushless car controller
and Feigao 540 10L good? Help on gear setup?

What do you think run time would be with 14 cells(4200)
and would it do any thing with the nitros?

The 9920 will work will with the 10L. For gearing what pitch gears you run? What size spur? What kind of diffs? What size or kind of tires?

Hey g man, the 10l has been a very good motor, it does run a bit hot, but it is still ok, the rcm heatsink help alot, and the xl motors do run cooler, due to longer armatures, and more torque:)

The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL
