It is just bad luck. I would send it back for a replacement.
It's "Dr. _paralyzed_" actually. Not like with a PhD, but Doctor like in Dr. Pepper. |

It appears the balancing epoxy did not stick/cure properly.
Unfortunately we cannot replace this motor if you send it to us. We only produce that motor for Traxxas for the XO-1 super car and as such we do not provide service and/or warranty for Traxxas products. We also cannot offer a non-warranty replacement as we do not have those motors in the building to replace it with. They are built in China and shipped directly to Traxxas facilities in Taiwan.
