on the first set that popped before I charged yes possibly (I didn't know you could discharge too far???), I was running them when they were low trying to completely discharge them. but the second set didn't pop a cell until after the charge cycle. and it was kind of weird I was feeling the cells and measuring temps with a temp gun, and they were cool right after the charge but the temps kept climbing until they popped, the popped cell was causing the cells next to them to increse temps as well so I unsoldered the popped cells from the pack. After things stabilized I put new IB3800 cells in the packs. It looks like the 3 of the packs are ok, but I have one pack that is low on voltage so I think I must have a bad cell in that pack still....I hit the pack with the charger again to see if I just forgot to start the charge cycle. The other odd thing is that the cells that popped still have good voltage in them now, at least 1.29v.
