Actually it's pretty awesome seeing those things fly... I've been flying for 2 years now.... I crash a lot, that's why I would never invest in a $3000 turbine jet.. I just fly my brushless F-27 Striker... Goes pretty fast.. faster than some turbine jets... Even for jets.. you gotta go brushless :)

I just picked up the F-27C (BRUSHLES & LiPo POWER!) as well the other day. Man what an awsome plane! 80+mph! Second plane I've ever flown. First was the SLO-V. Haha! Maybe 20mph max on that one! What a huge difference!
Love my trucks, helis and planes. I believe that if anyone starts off with just a cheap park flyer, they would be hooked.
