Whats with the single speed? - 09.06.2006, 12:02 PM

I know this is probably a newbie like question LOL, but whats with the single speed E-Maxx tranny. It because 1st gear is just to low for BL systems? And to strengthen/lighten the tranny?

Brushless motors have so much torque that the 1st gear isn't necessary. And it lightens the tranny and gets rid of the shifting servo.
