it's got a 2200 kv, a high efficiency and a built in fan. (and a HUGE one) that motor is build tough.

It will be a hot setup, but there is a difference between 'can't handle it' and 'usable for insane speedruns'

on 16 cells, and geared for about 75mph-80mph (overgeared?) the motor didn't got real hot..

And mine had a small fan, compared to the bigmaxxes i have seen elsewhere.

here you can see how well it's build.

You know, I was just looking at those pics and realized just how nice that cooling design is. The integrated fan in the rear blowing across those fins. The fan airflow redirector also acts as a fan guard. The fins, being angled, makes sure that the air more effectively cools it. IMO, way better than a simple heatsink, or rigging some type of biscuit fan over the motor.
