first off, welcome! i run a lehner and it is a very fine motor. if you can scrape the cash together buy one. i own a quark and a bk warrior, and neither is perfect. out of the two, i pick warrior. the quark CAN'T handle 6s lipo and doesn't want to handle the 5s lipo i'm force feeding it! most of the lucky people that spent the money for one and are having good results are running 4s lipo, so maybe you'll be lucky. you should be ok on either battery combo. i use a bec on the quark, but i run more voltage. i would say run one to be safe. most like the hitec 5955tg servo. 333oz of torque will turn anything! i run this an my g2r and my jammin and it is the best servo i've owned! bowtie/wabash or crimefighters/wabash will work well. as far as a slipper goes, i think that slipper will be ok if you can't get a strobe setup. i run the strobe and it works well on a g2r with 1950/8 and 6s lipo. i'm sure you'll get more opinions, be patient!
