Runtimes in race condition are about 35 to 40 mins non stop. No overheating but you need to use a fan on the quark 125b and a heatsink. I use a 10 or 11t pinion. Hardened steel of course.

The lipos are from Maxamps.com and cost around 100$ each, they are 8000mah and 7.4v. I wired them in series to get a total of 14.8v and 8000mah. I find the weight pretty respectable as well !

They need to be charged using a lipo compatible charger, like a duratrax ice. (the one I use...)

I have my quark 125b for sale, including the heatsink you see in the pics that the post before showed you. I totally forgot to include the link earlier. Its got a nice heatsink and to my knowledge is still under warranty for another 3months... (6months total)

If you want to reach me about that, you can pm me or send me an email at teamfcr at excite dot com.

Thanks !

The Mamba Max esc is also rated for 4s and 100A draw, so it would be another good option for you and would not require an addit HS, and possibly not even a fan if the buggy isn't too heavy.

IMO I would pick up a MM Esc, a Nue motor, a ubec and some 8000 mah lipos (4s would be good) from Mike.

I agree that the mamba max esc is probably a better choice right now. But motor wise, nobody proved to me that the neu motors were better than the plettys. And the plettys look nice and come with a fan... which makes a nice jet engine noise at high speed... Thats gotta count for something !

Its 4 pole as well so, tons of torque.. (thats how its been explained to me)

You could get all the stuff from Mike yep, agreed. I've heard only good stuff from him. There's also Jamie at starluck rc... hes got really good stuff as well !!
