one of the easyiest ways to wire a fan is to take a old servo wire w/ plug and wire the + & - from the fan to the red/black wires on the servo lead and plug it into a unused servo channel on your receiver....also it is best to use a 5vdc fan as well....

I have a little 40mm DC 12v brushless fan, would that work?
