Ok, got a couple koolflight UBEC's, one for the mamba and another for the mgm i got for another project. Can i set up the UBEC on the wires on the circut board of the mamba(red to red, black to black) I'm running the mamba without a series adapter, battery wires on different deans plugs with a jumper connecting them. Would it be ok to setup the UBEC wires under where the battery wires mount to the esc? I intend to set up a plug to make them detachable.

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

That'll work. Although you might void the warranty.

That's what I did with a Deans micro plug. Actually did two, the other one for a 12V fan originally.

OTOH, I set out to void the warr.
