Well, yea, money's always nice. Can I put anyone down for 10k?

If I place in the contest (and thus score a copy of SW Pro) I'll start seriously designing some rc parts in SW. The main inhibitor at the moment is that to use SW commercially I need a commercial license which costs at a minimum about $3,000. Then I could get some money from that and then it could snowball into a total car. It's a nice fantasy.

I've spent the last couple days nearly totally devoted to getting a nice render. It's very time consuming, but the results are awesome. I'm definately glad I spent the time. If anyone wants the big (3000x2250 pixel) versions just pm me your email.

VERY nice! Once you get this built and work out the "bugs" (as there is almost always something that needs to be changed), you ought to package everything as a kit and get a little more return on your hard work!

BTW: you could simply provide a link to the large version so people can D/L at will. Just an idea...

I really want to go to an F1 race but haven't had the chance yet. Please post the pics, I'd love to see them.

I would provide a link to a download, but I don't have anywhere to host it.

I actually like the CDG wings. It's cool to see the next step in aero evolution. When you look through the history of F1 you see different stages like the first wings, low wings, boxy bodies, and today's smooth, flowing bodies. It's just another stage in the evolution of F1. Who knows how long it will last, though.

Here's another render:
