they would work, but these are hardened, http://www.rc-monster.com/proddetail...HPI_BUGGY_DIFF (not sure how good the xrays would work) these are proven to work in the hybrid's

crazyjr, do those diffs work in the maxx diff housings?

If you are talking a reg stock maxx diff housing. No.
If you are talking a flm hybird or ue 1/8 light weight maxx diff housing. yes.

The only thing I see wrong with the xray diffs is the 40 tooth ring gear. Regular buggy diffs have a 43 tooth ring gear. It might work, it might not...
