That is just screwed up, but then again, 'most' American's are miserable, arrogant jerks ... no offense, but that is a great truth.

Arrogant I'll grant you; but "miserable"?

@nbcaz: Be careful with this guy; he doesn't sound right. He seems to be overreacting to something that's really not a big deal. Maybe he's trying to scare you or something. Can't imagine why, but it's hard to say.

The next time a "cop" calls you, ask for a badge number, name, and city/state. If he gives you this info, you can call the police in that area and check. If he doesn't give you this, tell him you will be calling the police in your area and reporting him because I think impersonating an officer is a crime. :dft012:

Af far as meeting his "cousin", be careful. Get something from the guy (perferably in writing, but an email should be OK) saying that this cousin will be representing him. Then, make up an invoice you both can sign and make sure to have two copies; one for him and one for you. If possible, bring someone with you, preferably someone older (30's-40's) as a witness and in case things get weird.

Personally, I'd just express ship the thing and get it over with.

Well, that's just my experience with most Americans. Don't get me wrong, there are lot's of wonderful, and brilliant people in the States. But i would say 90%, i don't want to have anything to do with them...
