Uh . . . way faster. Instant accelleration and better top speed. Don't get me wrong, the nitro was great - it just can't compare to this brushless system. Heck, I have (2) 3100mah Polyquest lipos that can dump almost 100 amps in a burst. That's a ton of power.
Like I said, with the right driver this thing can hang with the 1/8 scale nitro buggies at our local track. Obviously we don't have Adam Drake racing locally or anything, but you get the idea.
Why don't you just go with a brushless system against them? Won't they allow electric to compete with nitro? In the 1/8 scale they will a lot of times. I would go that route if at all possible if I were you. If you can, I would go with the lower KV motor from CC - not the 5700. I'll explain if you want to know.
