Recommended setup for Stampede/Rustler?

Thanks Batfish - I never figured running more than 10 cells so the 12012 would work. I'll probably break my 7 & 8 cell packs down to 6 to slow the kids down and that'll give me the opportunity for 12 instead of 10. Do I need to be concerned about what motor to put on? Is the cell count only effect the speed controller?
