I know the motor was at a REDICULOUS temp...it melted a chunk of snow a little larger than the speed control and then boiled it off all within a second or two. It actually did that to like 10 peices of snow...so I know it was REALLY...REALLY...hot, you know that isn't the smartest thing to do...to check temps........you could have just licked your finger and tested it that way....but to testit with clumps of snow...just wasn't to bright IMO, i think the next tiem I run my truck and i want to test the temp of it, i'll throw a cup of water on it and see if it boils off...........snow turns into water when it melts, also the sudden cold on stuff doesn't help things either......but hopefully the motor is allright, but i think you messed it up by super heating it, and then melting snow on it......and hopefully no water seeped inside any where......best of luck figuring out what is wrong with it......
